Workforce Development

HSCB and IOWSCB offer multi-agency professionals access to a range of learning and development focussing on neglect.

This includes both eLearning on neglect, available via The Virtual College, and, in-person training courses delivered in both Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight.

HSCB – Introduction to Child Neglect

An interactive, one day development workshop which will enable those who work with children and their families, in a variety of settings, to recognise signs and indicators of children and young people who are, or may be, neglected.

This is a one day course aimed at multi-agency practitioners and voluntary sector workers, with knowledge ranging from basic awareness to that of more experienced practitioners.

For more information about this course and others, please visit the HSCB Training Programme page and the IOWSCB Training and Events Programme page.
