Hampshire CAMHS – SAFE (Suicide Awareness For Everyone) Campaign

Hampshire CAMHS are organising a professionals event on September 7th 2017 at St Johns House The Broadway Winchester. This event is the culmination of a yearlong campaign that has focussed on youth suicide. A campaign which has sought to raise the profile of this being an issue, to enhance compassion and understanding build resilience and coping, and encouraging anyone and everyone to seek help. At this event Hampshire CAMHS are seeking front line staff from across Hampshire to attend on behalf of their secondary schools, GP practice, A&E, Police, Childrens services, paediatric dept. etc. Along with strategic individuals who can have a positive impact on the way we work and support YP and families. The focus will be on learning, and developing skills and getting resources to take back and share with your specific areas.  This will be an informative day and practical day and will also include personal experience of this subject matter and contact with services.
